Cindy has her birthday. She is celebrating an Anniversary of her
29th birthday. To me, she keeps getting younger. |
Kate got a new friend. She had to buy this one with her own
money. The "pig" is a guinea pig and we all think it is
cute. Henry especially likes it!
We had a block party. What a great neighborhood. We had babies,
face painting, burgers, hot dogs, drinks to share, etc.

the ribbons from her birthday. |

We got a new dining room table and chairs at The Dump. It is an off price
warehouse. We got a great deal, but that is because table and chairs don't
EXACTLY match. Close enough for us. |

The four pictures below are from the visit we had from Cindy's mom and
dad. It was the motivation we needed to get the middle bedroom finished,
almost. I chased them around the house trying to get pictures from two
camera shy people. Eva got away but I think I surprised Jim pretty well. |
Eva and Jim are getting ready to drive back to Illinois, but they stop for a
pose in front of the house first. We wish they would have stayed
longer. I think they will fly next time to avoid that long drive.
We have started a new tradition. We go down to the Coyle's to watch the
Sopranos on Sunday night. Carly and Scott come up here and Kate sits
with them if she doesn't have too much homework.
Carly likes to ham it up a bit. So far, they have seen Monsters, Inc
four times.
| The grass is back. It was
a tough summer, but it is looking good again with some cool and damp
weather. |
Kate and Lars have a few pictures taken. Their school pictures turned out
okay, but you couldn't see Lars' earring. Kate jumped when she got her ears
pierced at the mall. Lars and a few friends just did a home job. So
far no problems other than my getting used to it. |
