The Pace Quickens

After a slow week

Week Ending March 29

Not much happened last week, March 22.  The trees were cut down and the backhoe dug the hole.  Then it seemed to slow down.  Suddenly, it all broke loose.  The first thing that happened was the footings were poured.  I expected it to be poured into forms.  Instead, the holes were just filled with concrete.
The construction crews took a couple days off while the concrete dried.  Apparently, they came back ready to work because they put up all the block and brick in one day.
Cindy took a bit of a walk through.  She was standing in the garage (to be) when I snapped this picture.
That wasn't the only excitement.  Last week you caught a glimpse of the family.  Lars was taking a Tae Kwan Do test and Katie was hanging out and talking.  This week I got to go to the hospital.  Lars took this picture for no good reason.  Wait until HE wants the car!
